Another woman is speaking out against Tiger Woods, but this time it's his kindergarten teacher. Maureen Decker is denouncing the golfer's statements about what he says took place on his first day of kindergarten. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Tiger Woods is now being denounced by, of all people, his kindergarten teacher!
The teacher, Maureen Decker, is reacting to a story in basketball great Charles Barkley's book, in which Woods was quoted as saying: "I became aware of my racial identity...on my first day of kindergarten. A group of sixth graders tied me to a tree, spray-painted (the n-word) on me, and threw rocks at me...And the teacher really didn't do much of anything."
Woods repeated the story in a 1997 interview with Barbara Walters.
"I want a public apology and a private apology," said Decker during a press conference.
Decker, who taught Woods at Cerritos Elementary School in Anaheim, California, showed off photos of what Woods looked like in kindergarten.
At Decker's side during the press conference was Woods's nemesis, Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred, who also represents former mistresses Rachel Uchitel and Joslyn James.
"A dedicated teacher has been unfairly slandered and maligned for motives that can only be speculated about, we think it is time for Tiger Woods to do the right thing and retract his statement," said Allred.
And the world is learning more about why Woods's wife Elin won't be present for his big return to golf at the Masters Tournament.
The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that Elin got hold of an advance copy of the Vanity Fair article featuring provocative layouts of three former mistresses, Loredana Jolie, Jamie Jungers and Mindy Lawton.
It's no wonder Elin has decided to flee the country; she's flying to Sweden to spend the week with her family.
