Husband of Dead Diver Speaks Exclusively to INSIDE EDITION

The husband of diver Rebecca Weiss, whose body has just been recoverd, speaks out in an INSIDE EDITION exclusive.

The husband of the California woman who went missing while free diving is breaking his silence in an exclusive interview with INSIDE EDITION.

Alan Weiss said he had nothing to do with the mysterious death of his pretty wife Rebecca, who vanished mysteriously last week while diving alone at her favorite beach not far from her home in Marina Del Rey.

Rebecca's body was just found over the weekend.

Alan said, "It's going to be a while to absorb everything."

Police said there was no sign of foul play and that, most likely, she drowned accidentally.

But Rebecca's family said they can't believe Rebecca drowned because she was such a strong swimmer. She loved the grueling and dangerous sport of free diving in which swimmers descend to incredible depths on a single breath.

Rebecca's mother claimed Alan was having an affair, and said that he didn't seem to care that his wife was missing.

INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret asked, "Her mother came out and said you are not searching enough. Her mother claims you have a girlfriend. How does that make you feel?"

Alan said, "I'm not going to get into any of her nonsense."

Rebecca's mother told INSIDE EDITION, "We are distraught. There is nothing we can do right now, at least we found her. We were hoping we would find her alive but at least we found her."

Moret then asked, "What do you want to say to people who are pointing the finger at you, saying you had something to do with it?"

Alan answered, "It doesn't matter. People who know me, know me."
