Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher died early this morning from a stroke. She was 87.

Thatcher, the daughter of a grocer, rose from humble beginnings to lead Great Britian for 11 years, the longest tenure in the 20th century. Known as the "Iron Lady" Thatcher was the toughest Briticsh Prime Minister of modern times.
