Teenage Girls Lift 2,000 Pound Tractor To Save Dad's Life

In a moment of superhuman strength, two sisters lifted a 2,000 pound tractor off of their father who was trapped underneath. INSIDE EDITION spoke to the family.

Two sisters are super girls. Like the comic book character, they found the super human strength to lift a 2,000 pound tractor and save their dads life.

Their father Jeff said, “I don't know if I could do something like that.”

The girls, 14-year-old Haylee and 16-year-old Hannah, don't want to think what could have happened if they were not there.

Their dad, Jeff, was trapped under the machine at their Oregon home. It flipped over on top of him.

Their 911 call was startling.

911 Operator: “You said the car fell on him?”
Caller: “A tractor. A full freaking 2,000 pound tractor.”

The girls realized they couldn’t wait for help.

And like real life super girls, they mustered strength they didn’t know they had.

In the 911 call:

Caller: “It’s off his arm now. He is breathing and he is conscious.”

There have been other examples of girls exhibiting unheard of power fueled by adrenaline.

Last year, 22-year-old Lauren Kornacki found her father trapped beneath a 3,000 pound car. It had slid off a jack. That jolt of adrenaline saved her dads life.

As for Hannah and Haylee, their mom Cherie is very proud of her girls.

Cherie said, “I don’t think a lot of adults could even have handled themselves the way the girls did.”

The girls don’t know if it’s something they could ever do again.

Jeff said, “To think of two fairly small teenage girls being able to do something like that was incredible.”
