Sarah Palin's Curious New Neighbor

Sarah Palin is waging war against her new neighbor, a famous author writing an expose about her!

True Crime writer Joe McGinniss just moved in next door to Palin's compound in Wasilla, Alaska.  A mere 15 feet separate the properties.

Palin blasted McGinniss on her Facebook page, "Wonder what kind of material he'll gather while overlooking Piper's bedroom, my little garden, and the family's swimming hole?"

Piper is Palin's 9-year-old daughter.

Palin even posted a photo of McGinniss looking through binoculars on his back porch, snapped from her property!

Palin sent an outraged e-mail to Fox News host Glenn Beck, who spoke out about the neighbor war on his radio show.

"This is stalking! This is awful!" Beck said.

McGinniss's book is said to be called Sarah Palin's Year of Living Dangerously and is scheduled to be published next year.

McGinniss is best known for his book Fatal Vision which was made into a hit miniseries in 1984.

And get this, Palin says she learned the identity of her new neighbor after she sent her husband Todd over to "introduce himself to the stranger who was peering in."  McGinniss told Todd that he's moved from Massachusetts to the rented house for around five months.

All the Palin kids live in the compound including Bristol, who just posed with her 17-month-old son Trig for the new issue of Harper's Bazaar Magazine.

As for her new neighbor, Palin took this parting shot, "You know what they say about 'fences make for good neighbors?' Well, we'll get started on that tall fence tomorrow."
