Provocative Video of France's First Lady Carla Bruni

France's First Lady Carla Bruni says she's "shocked and dismayed" by a provocative video of a TV appearance she did in 1996, promoting a book about sex.  INSIDE EDITION has the details.

France's beautiful first lady, Carla Bruni, is "shocked and dismayed" by a provocative video that just popped up on YouTube.

"This is for us to speak about love and sex in seven different languages," Bruni said appearing on a British late night show called Eurotrash back in 1996. She was a 28-year-old supermodel promoting a book called Hot International.

The first lady said, "We're meeting new people every day and we must know what to tell them in case we get in bed with them."

Bruni didn't write the book but was helping publicize it. She shows off her impressive language skills, she speaks four, and uses some very sexy phrases.

"If you have a German person and you want to tell them, 'you get me very hot,'" Bruni explained in the video.

Some of what she says is so provocative that it cannot be shown.

The past of France's first lady is coming back to haunt her!

Bruni's friend was quoted as saying, "she has no idea why (the video) has surfaced at this particular time, but she's under no illusion that it will undermine her credibility enormously."
