Before Driving Kids Into Ocean, Ebony Wilkerson Cited In Previous Accident

After shocking video of a mom driving a minivan full of kids into the ocean emerged, a man has come forward revealing the same woman had a previous incident which ultimately had fatal consequences.

It was video that shocked America as three youngsters screamed for their lives after their mother drove straight into the surf in Daytona Beach, Florida. They were rescued by Good Samaritans.

Ebony Wilkerson has been charged with three counts of attempted murder. But we're now learning about another accident that indirectly led to the death of 35-year-old Jennifer Krane seven years ago.

Doug Krane says Wilkerson destroyed his life in 2007 when she struck his wife's car on I-95 in Delray Beach.

He told INSIDE EDITION, "Because she got away with that, she almost went and hurt herself and her kids, also."

Jennifer Krane died 15 days later in the hospital when complications developed. She had just given birth to her son, Jayden, three weeks earlier.

Doug said, “So, I definitely get the question, 'How come everybody has a mom and a dad but me?'"

He was outraged that Wilkerson was only cited with making an improper lane change.

He said he couldn't believe it when he heard Wilkerson's name on the news after she allegedly tried to drown her children in the ocean.

He said, "I hope that she actually gets what she deserves."

Wilkerson is being held on $1.2 million bond.
