Insight Into The Woman Who Brought Down Donald Sterling

Airdate: 04/30/2014

The woman who brought down basketball billionaire Donald Sterling sure looked like she's making the most of her 15 minutes of fame as she posed for the paparazzi in roller skates and short shorts. But who is V. Stiviano?

INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret sat down with one of her best friends, Karrine Steffans. She's the author of the best seller Confessions of a Video Vixen, a tell-all about her celebrity conquests.

Moret asked, "What is up with that sun-visor?"

She said, "It is dramatic."

Moret asked, "The only sound we have heard from V. is that she wants to run for president. People are wondering if V. Stiviano is nuts."

She said, "I can not diagnose V. Stiviano. But, I know she is under a lot of pressure. There may be a little delusion at this point. I think pressure makes you crazy."

Stiviano is insisting today that she never had a romantic relationship with the 80-year-old billionaire who lavished her with expensive gifts.

Steffans said, "There was not a sexual relationship. First of all, you are looking a vibrant woman who is very much alive. Even if V. Stiviano wanted a sexual relationship with Donald Sterling, do you think it is possible they had a sexual relationship?"

Moret said, "You are talking about a Ferrari, two Bentley's, a Land Rover, an apartment, hundreds of thousands of dollars."

"This is Los Angeles. This is not weird or odd for a man who is worth $2 billion. It is like giving her a dollar."

On the tapes, Stiviano challenged Sterling about his bigoted views and some have suggested that she set him up. Now, look at Donald Sterling.

Stiviano: “Do you know that you have a whole team that's black that plays for you?”
Sterling: “You just, do I know? I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses.”

Moret asked, "V.'s attorney says she did not sell or release these tapes. Do you believe that statement?"

Steffans said, "I can't believe anything because I don't know. That house is open. Like, yesterday I was at the house, there were other people coming and going, yesterday. Could someone else have done it? Yes. Could V. have done it? Yes."
