Woman Blames Donald Sterling and His Son For Her Paralysis

INSIDE EDITION spoke to Cheryl Bogart, who is blaming Donald Sterling's son, Scott, for being confined to a wheelchair.

Cheryl Bogart is confined to a wheelchair, paralyzed for life, and she's blaming disgraced billionaire Donald Sterling and his wayward son.

She told INSIDE EDITION, “Every single solitary day that I live my life like this, there is not one day that goes by where I don't I think about how they could have made my life easier.”

Thirty-six-year-old Cheryl grew up hanging out at the Sterling family mansion. Her brother, Phillip, was best friends with Sterling's son, Scott.

Tragedy struck at a wild party at an apartment building in Beverly Hills in 2005.

Cheryl told Moret, "His parents never gave him money, so he was selling drugs."

Cheryl claims she was drugged by Scott Sterling and was so high that she fell from a third story window.

Cheryl said, "My drink was drugged."

INSIDE EDITION’s Jim Moret asked, “Did Scott Sterling ever apologize to you?”

“No,” she said.

Cheryl's brother, Phillip, says Scott even mocked his sister's paralysis, saying, “He made comments making fun of her. Mocking her, laughing that she can't walk.”

Cheryl sued Scott Sterling for his role in causing her injuries, claiming he "Administered drugs...resulting in an injury leaving her paralyzed from the waist down."

“I was hurt that Scott did not protect me that night,” she said.

Scott's billionaire father refused to settle. The case was dismissed after a five year court battle. Scott died from a drug overdose at a beachfront apartment in Malibu last year. He was 32.

Cheryl says Donald Sterling's public disgrace and the expected loss of the Clippers is nothing less than he deserves.

She said, “He's hurt so many people and I think that it is just catching up to him. People are now abandoning him because of the type of person he has been his whole entire life.”
