Trampled at Rave Party, Student Now Faces Long Recovery

INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret reports from the California Medical Center in downtown Los Angeles where some of the victims of that terrifying stampede at a wild concert last weekend are being treated . And now one of those victims who was caught in the crush is speaking out for the first time.

Camille Cuzakis is describing the horror when she was crushed in a stampede when a rave concert turned out of control.

"Every bone in my body was throbbing," said Cuzakis.

It was a sea of humanity as 185,000 people attended the giant rave at the Los Angeles Coliseum.  The 20-year-old college student was just a few feet away from where a video posted on Youtube was shot. Camille was trampled.

Moret asked, "Camille, describe what happened. You were there in this massive crowd and suddenly you black out. What happened?"

"Before I knew it, they were saying 'Push! Push!' and I was screaming and I woke up here. It all happened so fast," said Cuzakis.

"So you were basically caught up being pushed by a crowd behind you," said Moret.

"Yeah, I hit my head and I blacked out," said Cuzakis.

She showed INSIDE EDITION on of her many bruises where she was trampled by the crowd.  She's wearing a brace to keep her back stable after she broke three vertabrae and her pelvis.  She has to use a walker because it will be several months before she can walk normally.

Los Angeles county is considering a ban on all future raves at the Coliseum, but that's too late for people like Camille, who will likely have to live with physical pain for the rest of her life.
