Teenage Pitching Phenom Brings Her Team To Little League World Series

Mo'Ne Davis has got game! The 13-year-old Little League pitching phenom from Philadelphia has secured her teams spot at the 2014 Little League World Series.

The ace pitcher and honor roll student struck out player, after player, after player on Sunday leading her team to an 8-0 victory over the Newark Nationals.

INSIDE EDITION spoke to her from her team bus traveling to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where they'll be playing this Friday in round one of the World Series.

She said, “It's very exciting, it's going to be a good journey and it been a good journey so far. So, win or lose, I just want to go for the experience.”

She stands out as the only girl on her all boys Little League team.

INSIDE EDITION’s Megan Alexander asked her, “You are the 18th girl to ever play in the Little League World Series. What does that mean to you?”

“It means a lot and more girls should start playing so then you wont have to keep count of how many girls were in the Little League World Series and it would make this experience so much better if girls are joining to play with the boys,” she said.

You go, girl!
