Handsome Bachelor Seeks 'Elizabeth Gallagher' for Free 'Round-the-World Trip

Jordan Axani has a free ‘round-the-world trip for one lucky lady, with one big catch – her name must be Elizabeth Gallagher. INSIDE EDITION explains.

A handsome bachelor is offering a free 'round-the-world trip to one very lucky young woman, but there's a gigantic catch. Her name has to be Elizabeth Gallagher.

The Today Show's Tamron Hall said, "He is looking for someone named Elizabeth Gallagher?"

On Good Morning America, Amy Robach said, "Wake up ladies if your name is Elizabeth Gallagher."

So, why is the bachelor so picky about his traveling companion's name? Well, eight months ago, he bought plane tickets for himself and his then-girlfriend, a pretty young woman named Elizabeth Gallagher.

They planned to fly from New York City to Milan, Italy. Then, on to Prague in the Czech Republic; Paris, France; New Delhi, India; and Bangkok, Thailand over 18 days.

Unfortunately, Jordan Axani and Elizabeth Gallagher broke up before their dream trip, and Jordan says the airlines won't let him change the name on the ticket.

So, he went on the social media website, Reddit, asking, "Are you named Elizabeth Gallagher? Want a free plane ticket around the world?"

He told INSIDE EDITION, "Airlines aren't overly flexible when it comes to name changes on tickets and so it's a wonderful trip and I would hate for it to go to waste."

Twenty-seven-year-old Jordan insists, "I am not looking for companionship [or] romance. The only thing I ask is that you enjoy this trip and that it bring you happiness."

Jordan says applicants should be "sane, smart and (hopefully) interesting."

INSIDE EDITION checked. There are actually 100 Elizabeth Gallagher's listed in the U.S., and another 76 in Canada.

We spoke to one of them, the Elizabeth Gallagher from Boston.

She told INSIDE EDITION, "I think it would definitely be a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I've always wanted to go to India so when I saw that I was all excited."

Alas, this Elizabeth is not really eligible for the trip.

Since the original Elizabeth Gallagher was Canadian, airline regulations require that the new Elizabeth Gallagher also travel on a Canadian passport.
