7,000 Pairs of Unfilled Shoes Honor Children Lost to Gun Violence Since 2012

7,000 pairs of shoes had no feet to fill them because of gun violence. Activist group Avaaz placed the shoes outside the Capitol building in Washington Monday. They say each pair represents a child whose life has been lost to gun violence since the 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
