Leopard Pulled Out of 30-Foot-Deep Well

December 14, 2017

A leopard took a nasty fall and found itself at the bottom of a 30-foot-deep well. Rescuers tranquilized the big cat before using a harness to bring it out. It happened in a residential area of eastern India. There are only 12,000 to 14,000 Indian leopards left in the wild as their natural habitats are increasingly threatened by development. After her rescue, the fully grown female was reportedly taken to a local wildlife park.
