Man Gets $15 Million After Murder Conviction Is Overturned 27 Years Later

A man who spent nearly three decades in prison for a crime he says he didn't commit was awarded $15 million after his murder conviction was overturned. Frank O'Connell was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison after a judge found him guilty of killing 27-year-old Jay French in 1984. He was released in 2012 after it was revealed sheriff's detectives failed to disclose evidence of another possible suspect.
