Reporter Shocked When Bird Hits Him in Face Seconds Before Going Live

It was a rough day at work for a reporter who had an unpleasant encounter with a bird before a live shot. Nine Network’s Brett McLeod was reporting from outside Parliament in Melbourne, Australia when a magpie swooped right into his eye. It happened just seconds before he was set to go live with his updates, so viewers at home didn’t get to see the bird strike live. McLeod was able to shake it off.
