Snowboarder Buried by Avalanche: ‘It Was Really Scary’

It was a harrowing sight to see a snowboarder buried in an avalanche of snow with only his face exposed. Evan Huck and his wife Kahlynn were snowboarding in Squaw Valley, California. Video was posted to Snapchat just ten minutes before a mountain of snow came barreling down on them. Evan was buried alive. His wife was also hit by the avalanche and got separated from Evan, but somehow maneuvered her way out of the snow. The couple says they’re lucky to be alive.
