For the first time we’re seeing video of Kobe Bryant’s doomed flight taking off. Inside Edition obtained footage showing the helicopter departing from John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California. Over the weekend, heartbreaking tributes to the star continued to be made, from Kobe’s wife Vanessa posting a video on Instagram of the star and Gigi, to Spike Lee embroidering the star’s number across the lapel of his suit for the Oscars.
