A Year Later, Groom Paralyzed During Bachelor Party Making Progress

The love story of Brett Greenhill and Meg Alexander took a difficult turn one year ago. They were celebrating a joint bachelor-bachelorette party when Brett dove head first into the ocean and hit a sand bank, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. The wedding was cancelled and the entire focus became taking care of Brett. Meg drove her fiance to his many therapy sessions. Progress has been slow, but Brett is making strides with the help of NextStep Paralysis Recovery Center.
