An intense meeting complete with a typed-up agenda was taking place – but this wasn't a political strategy session - all these people were planning an elaborate marriage proposal!

Gabby Feliu enlisted the help of a proposal planner, Lisa Light, to help orchestrate an over-the-top engagement to girlfriend Bijou on the scenic slopes of Hunter Mountain in upstate New York, where the couple fell in love.

A representative for WeddingChannel.com says, “Everyone wants to know how you got engaged, so the guy is under a lot of pressure to come up with the perfect proposal.”

After months of planning, and armed with a sparkling ring from Whiteflash.com, Gabby was ready to go. 

INSIDE EDITION reporter Megan Alexander was there with Gabby before the plan went into action.  “I’m feeling great, I cant wait for this to happen!” Gabby told Megan.

Gabby and Bijou get in the ski lift and head up the mountain for what Bijou thinks will be a leisurely day of skiing...little does she know, Gabby is about to pop the question.

An INSIDE EDITION producer snuck a camera onto the chair lift with the couple, as happy helpers in passing chair lifts held up signs asking Bijou to prepare to say yes.  

“Gabby, what is that?” Bijou asked.

After a moment of confusion, Bijou begins to realize what is happening.

The couple skis off the chair lift, and Gabby throws off his jacket, revealing a coat and tie.  He gets down on bended knee as professional musicians play in the background.

“This is the best thing ever!” Bijou exclaimed.

And the event did not end there.  At the base of the mountain, a horse-drawn carriage waited to whisk the couple away to a champagne-filled reception to celebrate the elaborate proposal

“Gabby you pulled it off,” cheered Megan Alexander.  “With everyone’s help…thanks!” Gabby said excitedly.
