The hard work continued for Michelle Obama, who had a slight stumble at the podium just hours after her dynamic opening night speech.
The country is still buzzing about Michelle's performance and her adorable little girls, who greeted their mom with warm hugs onstage. Though they seemed a little intimidated by the huge crowd at first, 7-year-old Sasha and 10-year-old Malia quickly stole the spotlight, blowing kisses to their dad who appeared on a huge screen via satellite.
Little Sasha seemed especially excited, repeatedly talking into a microphone. She actually helped her father fix a flub about where he was. As it would turn out, he was in a different city than he first explained.
"Daddy, what city are you in?" Obama's youngest daughter asked.
"I'm in Kansas City, sweetie," Obama said, correcting himself, after first saying he was in St. Louis.
"How do you think Mom did," he asked Sasha.
Daddy's little girl replied with a smile, "I think she did good. Love you, Daddy. Bye."
However, what viewers didn't see on TV was that getting the young girls to the stage took a bit of convincing. The Obama campaign posted a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube, showing Michelle sweet talking her daughters to come out and congratulate her.
INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent caught up with Obama's running mate Joe Biden who had rave reviews for Michelle. "This lady's going to be an incredible First Lady," said Biden.
INSIDE EDITION has also learned more about a courageous appearance by Ted Kennedy, who is battling a brain tumor. In what has been hailed the emotional highlight of the night, Kennedy said, "Nothing is going to keep me away from this special gathering tonight."
Kennedy's first stop in Denver was to a local hospital so doctors could check his health after the cross-country flight.
Kennedy's decision to take the stage came down to the last minute. When he arrived at the convention center Kennedy sat backstage on a golf cart. It's been said he waved to supporters but wasn't speaking to anyone, raising concerns about whether he had the physical strength to address the nation. But the lion of the Senate came out and roared. His left hand was wrapped in a bandage and his trademark mane of white hair was noticeably thinning.
Kennedy delivered a rousing speech with a strong but raspy voice that left many in the audience in tears, including his niece Maria Shriver.
Fellow Massachusetts Senator John Kerry wasn't surprised by Kennedy's display of strength, saying with a laugh, "That's Ted Kennedy. He's courageous to be here tonight and I thought it was just wonderful to have that celebration."
Now, it will be Hillary Clinton's turn. All eyes will be on Obama's former rival, who took a tour of the big stage just before her main event speech Tuesday night. Democrats are counting on Clinton to unite the Democratic Party after the bitter primary battle.

Obama's adorable little girls are also getting high marks from the fashion critics.
Older sister Malia looked picture-perfect and age-appropriate in a simple dress with spaghetti straps and a bow. While 7-year-old Sasha stole the show in a cute purple dress with a white flower pinned at the neckline. Her hair was pinned back with little barrettes.
