They're sexy and beautiful, but the gorgeous women posing for a new calendar could end up in hot water and may even be ex-communicated from their church.

The women aren't just any models, they are Mormon moms!

The Mormon mothers are showing some skin for a steamy calendar called "Hot Mormon Muffins." The calendar was created to defy Mormon stereotypes.

Amy Hansen, who poses as a provocative cupid for the month of February, is coming out in support of the sexy calendar. "It's kind of fun to show a different side of the Mormon women," she says.

Chad Hardy is the man behind the controversial photo shoot.

In 2007, Hardy launched a different calendar called "Men on a Mission," which showed-off shirtless male Mormons who'd recently returned from missionary work. He was ex-communicated from the Mormon Church because the calendar was deemed too sexy. However, that didn't stop the photographer from this year's project, getting Mormon moms to pose seductively.

"I'm not afraid. I'm really excited to get this project out there," he says.

But INSIDE EDITION had to ask: do any of the women worry about being ex-communicated just like Hardy?

Leticia Farr says she is prepared for whatever fallout comes from being Miss December. "If it comes to that, I'll take it too, just as good as he's taken it. I'm proud of what I'm doing."
