Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher is making a stunning admission...she's used Botox®!
And she's not the only high-profile celebrity coming clean about Botox. The latest issue of People magazine reveals many popular stars have gotten shots to look younger.
"Celebrities are coming clean to send a message to women to say, look, obviously everyone needs help as they get older," says Galina Espinoza of People magazine.
Ugly Betty's Vanessa Williams admits to getting the shots every three months. Brooke Shields does it, as does former Playmate Jenny McCarthy, who, at just 36, says she's been getting Botox for several years.
"Celebrities are starting in their mid to late 20s, and over the age of 35, nearly everyone is getting a little Botox," Espinoza says.
Doctors estimate 75% of stars over the age of 35 receive the anti-wrinkle injections, according to the magazine. Last year, nearly 5 million Americans tried Botox.
And it's not just women! America's Got Talent's David Hasselhoff and even Simon Cowell admit to having the shots. "To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste," Simon has said.
Espinoza tells INSIDE EDITION, "I actually don't think it's surprising that Simon Cowell would get Botox injections, he's incredibly vain so to him getting Botox is just another part of his beauty regimen."
