Balinese men carried a sarcophagus in the shape of buffalo during Balinese Hindu mass cremation in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. More than 100 corpses were collectively cremated in the ceremony known as Ngaben Masal (Mass Cremation). Taking place every four years in the Singakerta Village, it is one of the most important ceremonies for Balinese Hindu people. They believe during the burnings, that deceased bodies spirit will be freed to reincarnate.
