INSIDE EDITION has obtained the dramatic 911 call Maria Shriver made when her son Christopher was seriously injured in a boogie board accident in Malibu.
911 Operator: What is the emergency ma'am?
Shriver: It's like a boogie board accident, I think, and can't move off the beach. Maybe like broken ribs or something like that.
Shriver says she saw the accident from her kitchen window. She sounded remarkably composed when she called 911.
911 Operator: Is he awake and breathing?
Shriver: Yeah, he's awake and breathing. He can't move, he's having trouble breathing.
Today, 13-year-old Christopher is doing much better after suffering a collapsed lung.
