People release paper lanterns onto the Motoyasu River to commemorate the victims of the atomic bomb near the A-Bomb Dome on the 66th anniversary of the atomic bombing in Hiroshima, Japan. An estimated 90,000 – 166,00 people were killed in the first two to four months after the bomb detonated on August 6, 1945, according to the Radiation Effects Research Foundation.
