Jimmy Fallon Takes Over "Tonight Show"

It's official. Jay Leno is leaving The Tonight Show. He will step down next spring and Jimmy Fallon will take over.

"Congratulations Jimmy," Leno said in a statement. "I hope you're as lucky as me and hold on to the job until you're the old guy. If you need me, I'll be at the garage."

The news comes on the heels of that West Side Story duet the two did together earlier this week.
