Plane's Malfunctioning Coffee Maker Forces Emergency Landing

A malfunctioning coffee maker was reportedly to blame for a commercial flight's emergency landing in Florida this week.
Southwest Airlines Flight 1539 from Orlando to Houston was forced to divert to Pensacola Tuesday after a suspicious smell was detected in the cabin.
The smell was determined to be linked to a coffee maker upon investigation, according to Southwest Airlines spokesman Brian Parrish.
All passengers were taken off the plane, which remained grounded while the cabin was inspected.
After the aircraft was deemed safe for flight, passengers were back on their way to Houston.
No delays were reported as a result of the plane's stop.
