Debbie Rowe, the mother of Michael Jackson's two oldest children, leaves a movie theater in Calabasas, California, after catching a matinee screening of This Is It.
Rowe had rave reviews for the film. "It's a wonderful tribute to Michael. It's a great way for the kids to remember their dad," she said.
And she's not alone. This Is It is actually generating Oscar® buzz, and is predicted to earn a nomination for Best Picture of the Year.
The movie brought in an estimated $7.4 million on opening day, and it's expected to earn more than $40 million by the end of the weekend in the United States alone! The film also opened in 97 countries overseas.
It's believed Michael's three children saw This Is It at a private screening.
