Jodie Sweetin became famous playing cute-as-a-button Stephanie Tanner on the popular sitcom Full House.
Now she is making a shocking revelation. In her new book, UnSweetined, Sweetin says she was living a lie and she was getting high as recently as a year ago.
"I was using so many drugs and all at once all the time," she tells INSIDE EDITION.
Sweetin admits that during an anti-drug lecture at Marquette University, she was coming down from a "two-day bender of coke, meth and ecstasy."
And at the premiere of the movie New York Minute starring her former Full House castmates the Olsen twins, she was carrying meth in her handbag.
Sweetin spoke with INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander, who asks her, "Why did you fake your recovery?"
"I relapsed again and at that point I'd been doing the speeches already and I was scared of giving that up and yet I was getting deeper and deeper back into my addiction," Sweetin explains.
Sweetin also admits to drinking and driving with her baby girl, Zoie, in the car. "Zoie was a huge part in me getting sober."
Now, after two failed marriages, Sweetin says she's finally committed to being clean and sober. "To feel like such a fraud was really hard."
