Tens of thousands of fans shower the world champion Yankees with ticker-tape as they make their way up the Canyon of Heroes in downtown Manhattan.
Yankee superstar Alex Rodriguez shared his float with Jay-Z. A-Rod's 4-year-old daughter Natasha was by his side, but girlfriend Kate Hudson was nowhere in sight. And Johnny Damon was cradling his adorable baby girl, Danica.
He told INSIDE EDITION he was very excited, and said the parade was amazing.
The biggest cheers came for team captain Derek Jeter, whose girlfriend, actress Minka Kelly, made a rare public appearance to take part in the parade.
Manager Joe Girardi used his cell phone to snap photos of the crowd. Pitchers Andy Pettite and A.J. Burnett came armed with their own video cameras. INSIDE EDITION also caught up with director Spike Lee, who was signing autographs for fans. He said he was excited to see millions of New Yorkers come out to give the Yankees "New York love."
On the eve of the parade, Jeter and three other Yankees sat down with David Letterman.
"I don't mean any disrespect, but how hungover are you guys?" asked Letterman. "Probably not as bad as you!" joked Jeter, who also shot down rumors that he's engaged. "I've heard I've been engaged a few times. No, I'm not engaged. How about you?" "No, I'm married, by God," cracked Letterman.
