There's devastating news for singer Miley Cyrus. The driver of one of her production tour buses was killed when the vehicle spun off the road and flipped on its side Friday morning.
Miley was not on the bus at the time of the accident and released a statement saying, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to [the driver's] family in the midst of this tragedy."
The bus skidded hundreds of feet into a ditch off interstate 85 near Richmond, Virginia.
The bus was headed to a Sunday concert in North Carolina and it was carrying members of her lighting crew. One of them suffered minor injuries.
They escaped by smashing the front windshield.
A source tells INSIDE EDITION the driver was complaining of chest pains right before the crash.
