    One of Smallest Babies Ever Born Thrives After Being Born 3 Months Early

    One of the world's smallest babies ever born is thriving according to her doctor. E'layah Faith Pegues was born three and a half months early weighing just 10 ounces. The Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina says that E'layahis the smallest surviving premature baby ever born at their hospital. E'layah celebrated her original due date of December 29th weighing three pounds, five times more than her original birth weight.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
