Mother of Three Killed In Freak Accident While Waiting In Line at Drive-Thru

A trip for coffee turned deadly in what police are calling a freak accident. Pamela Page was in the drive-thru at Biggby's Coffee in South Carolina when she apparently dropped something out of her car. She opened the door to pick it up and somehow got pinned in between the car and the side of the building. The coroner said she died from blunt force trauma to the head. The coffee shop closed for the day out of respect for the victim's family. The 28-year-old was a mother of 3 young children.

Man Creates Epic Christmas Light Display On Home Set To Prince's 'Purple Rain'

Prince's 'Purple Rain' isn't a traditional Christmas song, but this year, a family in Minnesota considers it a honorary holiday tune. Mike Staudt creates a light display on his home every year. This time around, he set Christmas decorations to a hometown hero's hit, drawing thousands. It took more than a year to make and doubles as a way to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. Staudt says he's only a casual Prince fan but regrets not taking advantage of being in close proximity to the singer.

9-Year-Old Girl Wants to Collect 350 Blankets To Keep Kids Warm This Winter

9-year-old Emma Burkhart has been able to rally her community to collect blankets for kids to help them stay warm this winter. She got the idea last year when she was gifted two of the same blanket and wanted to give one away. She figured others could use blankets too and started the "Keep Kids Warm Blanket Drive" in her town of Durant, Oklahoma. Local businesses served as drop-off points for the drive and helped Emma collect 200 blankets! This year she's set a loftier goal: 350 blankets.
