    Watch Veteran Stop Suicidal Man From Jumping Onto Subway Tracks

    Watch as a wife tries everything she can from preventing her husband from plunging himself onto the tracks. She keeps pushing him away but he continues to fight back. A man, who is a navy veteran, witnessed what was unfolding from the other side of the platform and then runs up the stairs to try and help. You can see him here in the white shirt literally dragging him away from the tracks which police say could have electrocuted them. Police are now calling the navy veteran an angel.

    A thief who was shamed on social media for taking holiday decorations from a New York home has since returned the goods with a letter of apology. A man reportedly seen in surveillance footage plucking the festive holiday laser lights from a Staten Island front yard recently was chastised by Community Education Council 31 President Michael Reilly on Facebook following the theft.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
