    Police Officers Give Final Salute To K9 Officer Who Died In The Line of Duty

    A fallen K9 has gotten a salute fit for a hero after being killed in the line of duty. Officers paid their respects to their fallen partner. They formed a line up in the parking lot outside the hospital where K9 Credo succumbed to his injuries, and saluted as the fallen K9's remains were transported out draped in an American flag. The 4-year-old Belgian Malinois, who worked with patrol and narcotics and was pivotal in more than 30 apprehensions, was shot by friendly fire alongside the suspect.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
