A 14-year-old boy gave the shoes off his feet to a homeless man. Now a photo of the act of kindness is being shared around the world. Ron Ron is part of Purpme, a youth ministry outreach group in Louisville, Kentucky that teaches kids to have a purpose. Prince's 'Purple Rain' isn't a traditional Christmas song, but this year, a family in Minnesota considers it a honorary holiday tune. Mike Staudt creates a light display on his home every year. 9-Year-Old Girl Wants to Collect 350 Blankets To Keep Kids Warm This Winter

9-year-old Emma Burkhart has been able to rally her community to collect blankets for kids to help them stay warm this winter. She got the idea last year when she was gifted two of the same blanket and wanted to give one away. She figured others could use blankets too and started the "Keep Kids Warm Blanket Drive" in her town of Durant, Oklahoma. Local businesses served as drop-off points for the drive and helped Emma collect 200 blankets! This year she's set a loftier goal: 350 blankets.
