    Bear Cub Obey Police Officer's Orders After Breaking Into Sheriff's Office

    An unusual police run-in took place in Auburn, California when an officer stumbled upon a baby bear checking out the station's garbage situation. The cop took video of the animal walking over to the garbage cans and looking inside while he ordered him not to knock over the bins. The bear seems to almost be listening to the official as he stands on one of the cans, as it teeters on its side. The Placer County Sheriff's Office posted the video to Facebook but didn't end up booking the cub.

A man reportedly seen in surveillance footage plucking the festive holiday laser lights from a Staten Island front yard recently was chastised by Community Education Council 31 President Michael Reilly on Facebook following the theft.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
