    Firefighters Spend Hours Rescuing Exhausted Horse Stuck In The Mud

    For two hours, a rescue team in Colorado worked to save a 13-year-old horse that had fallen into muddy waters. Cupcake and her owner took a ride in a rural area near Denver just before the horse collapsed. Her owner called for help and fifteen responders showed up to the scene. They found Cupcake lying in knee-deep water, exhausted from their trip. Dramatic photos and video show the team using all efforts to save the horse, who was eventually given an energy shot to get her onto her feet.

    Fire Captain No Longer Needs Reading Glasses After Groundbreaking New Surgery

    Captain A.J. Martinez has a ton of glasses for various things he needs to do like look at a computer and has many spares for wherever he goes. He turned to Dr. Robert Lin for the newly approved KAMRA eye surgery that the doctor says will enable him to read without glasses. The San Diego firefighter says he was blindsided when he turned 50 years old and suddenly "woke up in the morning and had blurry vision and I couldn't figure it out." Martinez says he felt great after the procedure and had no pain.
