8 'House of Cards' Employees Accuse Kevin Spacey of 'Predatory' Behavior: Report

Spacey's brother also spoke to Inside Edition about accusations against his brother.

Eight people who worked on Netflix's House of Cards are accusing Kevin Spacey of predatory behavior in a bombshell new report.

Among the accusations are that he touched them without consent and made lewd comments, according to CNN. The unidentified employees said Spacey typically targeted young males on the production team.

CNN entertainment reporter Chloe Melas broke the story.

"It seems that almost all the crew members were aware that Kevin Spacey would seek out these young men and put people in very uncomfortable situations," Melas told Inside Edition. "That he would find reasons to allegedly massage them, give them shoulder rubs, touch their lower backs and there were instances of him putting his hands up people's shorts."

The explosive claims come days after Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp claimed Spacey made sexual advances toward him in 1985, when Rapp was just 14.

In a statement, Spacey said he did not remember the alleged encounter.

"But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years," he continued in the statement.

After the allegations, Netflix halted production on the show's sixth season.

The impact of the scandal on Spacey's career is worsening. He was considered a front-runner for another Academy Award nomination for his new movie, All the Money in the World, in which he plays legendary oil tycoon J. Paul Getty.

But now Sony Pictures is reportedly bailing on its Oscar campaign. Instead, they're said to be refocusing the marketing strategy on Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg.

Spacey's older brother Randall, a Rod Stewart impersonator, told Inside Edition they grew up in an abusive home.

"No emotions were ever shown in our house," he said. "[There were] a lot of dark secrets. My father and his pedophile ways, my mother turning a blind eye to it all."

Meanwhile, there's more trouble for Harvey Weinstein, who's been accused of rape by yet another actress.

Boardwalk Empire star Paz de la Huerta says Weinstein assaulted her twice in her Manhattan apartment in 2010, which is within New York's statute of limitations for rape.

"A senior sex crimes prosecutor is assigned to this investigation, and the office has been working with our partners in the NYPD since the new allegations came to light," the Manhattan District Attorney's Office said in a statement to CBS News. "As this is an active investigation, we will not be commenting further."

Weinstein has denied any allegations of non-consensual sex.
