The newest Bachelor Colton Underwood, 26, is making headlines for reasons a little different from most of the show's previous stars: He's a virgin.
When his season of show premieres next week, all the new contestants are vying to become the one. “I will say at times I struggled with opening up and being candid and open with my virginity,” he said.
“I'm at a point in my life where I am comfortable in my own skin," he added.
The handsome former football player is taking his experience on the dating show to a new level after trying to find love on Becca Kufrin’s season of “The Bachelorette.”
Kufrin ended up choosing someone else, and Underwood went on to appear on “Bachelor in Paradise," where he dated Tia Booth. They eventually broke up, leaving Underwood to pursue "The Bachelor."
The new season of “The Bachelor” premieres Jan. 7 on ABC.
