Is it really the end for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie? The couple is fighting back against reports that met with a Beverly Hills divorce lawyer to work out the details of as split.
"The paperwork is already organized for a breakup. It is clear it's a case of when they break up rather than if," says News Of The World.
Brad and Angelina's representative says the report just isn't true. People magazine quotes a source close to the couple as saying, "everything is fine." Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton says his contacts agree. "It is very false," says Hilton.
But flamboyant author Ian Halperin, author of "Brangelina: The Untold Story Of Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie" insists the stories of an imminent split are true.
"The people who have denied it, they have no clue of what's going in the house. My sources have confirmed to me 100 percent, this couple has been in trouble, not only for weeks, but for months. There has been a lot of turmoil, a lot of arguing," says Halperin.
Brad and Angelina haven't been seen in public together in several weeks. They skipped the Golden Globes and Brad was conspicuously absent at this weekend's SAG awards where his hit film Inglorious Basterds won for Best Ensemble Cast. He did appear on George Clooney's Hope for Haiti telethon Friday night. No Angelina in sight. The last time Brad and Angelina were seen together was earlier this month, when they went to dinner together in New York.
