Harrison Ford Couldn't Look Happier after His First Flight Since the Crash

Three months after Harrison Ford crashed his small plane, he is flying again and appears to love it.

Harrison Ford flashed a big smile after his first flight since he crashed his small plane at an L.A. golf course almost three months ago.

The legendary Star Wars actor was spotted right after the flight slowly getting out of the helicopter. He looked like he was still getting over the injuries as he got behind the wheel of a golf cart at Santa Monica Airport.

It's the same airport he took off from in March when his engine died and he radioed a distress call where he said, “Engine failure! Immediate return!”

72-year-old Ford crashed his vintage World War II plane on a nearby golf course's eighth hole. He suffered serious injuries including a severe head laceration and a broken ankle and pelvis.

But he was back in the air Thursday with a co-pilot by his side.

After the flight, he was greeted by a friend and they exchanged a hug.
