Judge Compares Snooki's Bad Behavior to Lindsay Lohan

A New Jersey judge is receiving criticism from Lindsay Lohan's parents after he called the Jersey Shore's Snooki, who was arrested for disorderly conduct, "a Lindsay Lohan wannabe." INSIDE EDITION has more.

The judge who compared Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi to Lindsay Lohan is getting a tongue-lashing of his own today, from none other than Lohan's parents.

"He's pathetic to say something like that," says Michael Lohan.

Michael is not happy with the New Jersey judge who told Snooki to get her act together.

"You seem to be acting like a Lindsay Lohan wannabe in this manner, going through life rude, profane, obnoxious, and self-indulgent," Judge Damian Murray said.

"Why do you bring my daughter into a hearing for Snooki? I mean come on, give me a break," says a disgusted Michael.

Lohan's mother Dina also lashed out at Judge Damian Murray. She was quoted as saying: "The family is very disappointed that a judge would say that in a court of law."

"It's not the way you want to live your life," Judge Murray told Snooki.

By the looks of her pout, Snooki wasn't all that impressed by the judge's stern lecture...but Today's Kathie Lee Gifford was.

"More parents should talk to their kids like that when they act up like this," Gifford said on the show.

Snooki was arrested July 30th and charged with disorderly conduct after sunbathers in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, where the third season of her hit MTV reality show was filmed, complained she was stumbling around drunk on the beach. The judge questioned whether it was all an act.

"I have concerns about how much of this episode was scripted by your show or how much was actions of your own initiative. I mean, if this was scripted, only you can determine if it's worth trading your dignity for a paycheck," said the stern judge.

"It was not scripted sir," said Snooki.

The no-nonsense judge fined Snooki $533 and gave her two days of community service.

"I'm very embarrassed – this is not like me, I've never been in this situation before so I definitely would like to apologize to anybody that I hurt," Snooki told the court.
