Lady Gaga Returns Home in Her Underwear

Lady Gaga returns home to New York from her success at the VMA's, wearing her underwear and not much else. Meanwhile, Chelsea Handler fires back at Perez Hilton.  INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

It's Lady Gaga, arriving at New York's JFK airport, in a bra, panties and fishnet stockings, with a set of handcuffs hanging off her belt.

Gaga is returning home from her phenomenal success at the VMA's.

And there's still a lot of buzz about that dress made out of raw meat. Many are asking, was the meat real? A rep from the animal rights group PETA said that it couldn't be, saying, "After time spent under the TV lights, it would smell like rotting flesh and likely be crawling in maggots."

But Gaga told Ellen DeGeneres, right after the show, that it's real all right all right, saying, "Well it's certainly no disrespect to anyone who's vegan or vegetarian."

Designer, Franc Fernandez says he made the dress using 50 pounds of flank steak that he bought at his family butcher in Los Angeles. It took him three days to make and he stored it in a cooler.

Cher, who got right up close to the dress, even touching it, tweeted, "Meat dress was so interesting up close & the way it was cut & fitted to her body was amazing!"

And VMA host Chelsea Handler has launched a Twitter war, lashing out at celebrity blogger Perez Hilton who panned her performance as host, tweeting, "Really didn't pull it off. For the most part, we were bored and just hoping she would shut the (expletive deleted) up so we could hear more music."

Chelsea tweeted back, "Oh, (expletive deleted) off! I had a blast and the show was awesome last night. Bomb? Your life is a bomb."
