Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore presented a united front today against those infidelity rumors.
The glamour couple made their first public appearance since Ashton's cheating scandal landed them on the cover of the new issue of People magazine.
Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore appeared at the Sheraton hotel in midtown Manhattan, the site of President Bill Clinton's Global Initiative Conference. Ashton took part in a panel discussion on technology and democracy while Demi looked on supportively from the front row.
Actor Ben Stiller was sitting next to Demi, who flew from the set of her new movie in Michigan to be by Ashton's side. Later, they sat side-by-side on stage, looking adoringly at each other. Demi even playfully put her head on Ashton's shoulder.
Their subject matter couldn't have been more serious. Ashton and Demi introduced a campaign to stop child sex trafficking.
At the podium, Demi Moore said, "Real men don't buy girls." Then, they held hands throughout the rest of the event.
Mike Fleeman of People magazine told INSIDE EDITION, "Ashton and Demi are trying to send a mesage, and the message is that they are as much in love as ever before. There is no scandal. There is no trouble here. It was the clearest, loudest, most public message they could send on a huge stage."
And we're learning more about the woman at the center of the storm, Brittney Jones, who claimed that she had a steamy one-night-stand with Ashton last July. Raunchy photos of the 21-year-old woman have surfaced on radaronline.com. Taken by an ex-boyfriend, they show Jones naked in bed.
Jones is being described as a "hard partier" who "lives off her boyfriends." She is said to have been obsessed with Ashton before she slipped her number to him at a Hollywood bowling alley.
But as they step out hand in hand, you'd never know Ashton and Demi were under siege.
