Did a Friend Cause the End of Eva Longoria's Marriage to Tony Parker?

Reports say that Eva Longoria filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker after discovering he had exchanged countless texts with the wife of his San Antonio Spurs teammate Brent Barry. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

37-year-old Erin Barry is the woman at the center of Eva Longoria's divorce drama.

Barry is a friend of Longoria's and the wife of Tony Parker's former teammate, Brent Barry.

In 2007, Longoria rode next to Barry on a boat making its way up San Antonio's famous River Walk. They were celebrating the San Antonio Spurs championship win.

"Well the divorce comes as a huge shock to the people here in San Antonio. Everywhere you go everybody's talking about it and that's greatly in part because this is such a huge celebrity couple and this seemed like a couple that was genuinely in love," says KSAT-TV's Isis Romero.

People.com is reporting that a source close to Parker claims he "flirted" with Barry, but they did not have a "physical relationship." They reportedly exchanged "hundreds" of text messages tinged with sexual undertones.

Barry, a former model, is reportedly estranged from her husband.

Longoria is cancelling a string of appearances.

She was supposed to be a presenter at the American Music Awards on November 21st, but she pulled out. Now the show's producers are scrambling to find someone else to present the award and fill Longoria's seat.

Meanwhile, Parker played well last night in his game against the Chicago Bulls

Outside the locker room, he was asked about the split.

"It's a very difficult time right now for me and Eva," Parker said.
