Kelly Preston Discusses Silent Birth

Kelly Preston talks about the controversial ‘silent birth' practice that she and husband John Travolta chose for the birth of their new son Benjamin. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Kelly Preston sat down with The Today Show's Natalie Morales on Wednesday for her first TV interview since giving birth to baby Benjamin at age 48. She says that she and husband John Travolta tried for three years before she got pregnant.

"I just think any time you get pregnant at this age, it is a miracle," Preston says.

Preston also opened up about her "silent birth". The controversial practice recommended by The Church of Scientology involving silence in the delivery room.

Preston explains, "If you need to moan or cry out of course that's normal but just bringing them in as peaceful a way as possible. My kids have always been very calm, happy, and I know that it's very much because of that."
