Charlie Sheen Breaks His Silence

Charlie Sheen has broken his silence for the first time since he was rushed to the hospital after wild partying, and the star is raising eyebrows because of the Hollywood actor he compared himself to. INSIDE EDITION reports.

Charlie Sheen has broken his silence for the first time since his wild party at the end of January.

"Egypt about burned to the ground, and all you people care about is my --------," the troubled actor wrote in a text message to Marianne Garvey, a writer for E! News.

"There's definitely anger and frustration I could read in [the text messages]. He is upset at what people are saying," Garvey tells INSIDE EDITION.

Sheen seems agitated by the attention his latest scandal is receiving, but refused to give his version of events except to say:

"Believe nothing," and, "I will never speak about any of this as long as I'm alive."

"What he's doing is just hinting that people don't know the whole story or that things get blown up with the drug use and the porn stars, but…he doesn't deny any of that,' Garvey says.

Sheen's publicist issued a much more sanitized statement on behalf of the actor:

"I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people. And to my fans, your good wishes have touched me very much."

Sheen's statement is also raising eyebrows over his comparison of himself to a Hollywood bad boy from a bygone era, Errol Flynn, who was notorious for his womanizing and hard partying.

"Like Errol Flynn, who had to put down his sword on occasion, I just want to say 'thank you,' " Sheen wrote.

Flynn suffered a heart attack and died during a week-long drug and alcohol binge at age 50 in 1959. Hopefully 45-year-old Sheen will not suffer a similar fate.

It is being reported that Sheen will return to the set of Two and a Half Men by the end of February.
