Andy Cohen Publicly Bashes PS 22 Student Oscar® Performance

TV personality Andy Cohen ripped into the children's choir that performed at the Oscars®, saying it was the worst part of the show. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.

The PS 22 student choir may have sung their way into hearts across the nation, but apparently not everyone was impressed.

Andy Cohen, host of Bravo TV's Watch What Happens Live and creator of The Real Housewives franchise Andy Cohen ripped into the adorable chorus kids from New York's PS 22 during an appearance on MSNBC's Morning Joe.

Cohen said, "I was looking for a knife to stick in my eyes, terrible. I don't need to see that. It was just bad. It was just awful. It was horrible."

Joe Scarborough's Morning Joe could hardly believe what he heard as Cohen continued, "It was not the time. Everything has its time and place. The end of the Oscars® is not the time. We don't want to see this. You just ruined everything."

A shower of online criticism rained down on Cohen: "What a [expletive deleted]. My lil sister is in that choir they worked hard!" Another said, "Leave the kids alone and pick on a housewife."

Cohen quickly retreated and tweeted back, "I was kidding and apologized."

The PS 22 fifth graders made the trip home from Los Angeles and are now back at school. It was all a dream come true, despite Cohen's comments.
